In Scoil Naomh Treasa we’re very serious about keeping our pupils safe while online in school.
Increasingly, our pupils have access to the internet and social web-sites via their smart-phones, laptops and tablets, both at home and in school.
More than ever, we need to educate our young people to be aware of the effect of anything they say or type while using e-mail, texts or Facebook.
Furthermore, we need to show them how to deal with targeted, offensive or threatening messages, known as “Cyber-Bullying” and how to access help and support.
