Christmas Panto
Many thanks to our Parent's Association who kindly arranged a trip for all our pupils to see Cinderella in the Lark, Balbriggan. It was a fantastic show and wonderful experience for everyone!
Fire Station Visit
The boys and girls in both Ms O'Mara's and Mrs Light's class visited Ashbourne Fire Station on Tuesday 19th November. They had a fabulous time and many thanks to all the fire fighters who made it such an enjoyable and educational trip. Check out more pictures here!
Golf
On Wednesday 13th November, the pupils in 3rd- 6th class enjoyed great golf sessions with Liam from Golf Ireland. Click here for more photos.
Junior Infants 2024

Glas Performance
On Thursday 2nd May, the boys and girls from Mrs. Light's 3rd & 4th class joined the children from Mount Hanover to perform a concert with the Glas String Quartet. Many thanks to our Music Generation teacher, Michelle Foy, for preparing the children so well for this special event.
Active Week
We had a super Active Week from 13th - 17th May 2024. Each day children engaged in a range of different activities such as gymnastics, karate, orienteering and basketball to name just a few. Many thanks to Ms. O'Mara for organising.
Daffodil Day
In celebration of Daffodil Day, all classes got to visit Elmgrove Farm and pick beautiful bunches of daffodils. Well done to our Student Council for helping to organise this fundraising initiative. We are delighted to say that with the generous donations from both our parents and children, we have raised €500 for the Irish Cancer Society. Click here for more photos.

We celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge in school during the week of the 11th - 15th March.
Library Visit

World Book Day
We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 7th March 2024. Well done to all the pupils who made such a huge effort to dress-up as characters from books they've enjoyed reading.
Minister for Justice Visit
We were delighted and honoured to welcome the Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee to our school on Monday 19th February 2024. Minister McEntee first met with our Student Council, followed by a visit to the infant classroom and then a whole school assembly. Many thanks to Helen for her patience in engaging with our pupils and answering the many questions they had!
Word Millionaires
Congratulations to our word millionaires! Well done to Ronan from 2nd class who was the first person in the school to read one million words via Accelerated Reading Programme. A fantastic achievement, well done!
Fundraiser for UNICEF
At Christmas time our 5th & 6th class students and Sheila Scanlon and friends, held separate bake sales in the community to raise funds for UNICEF. Peter and the choir donated all money made at the annual Carols by Candlelight concert too and in total, the wonderful people of Bellewstown raised an amazing sum of €2,742.70. Well done to everyone involved!

Hot School Meals Programme
Following an announcement in the budget in October 2023, Scoil Naomh Treasa has been approved for the Hot School Meals Programme. This is due to commence in April 2024 for our school, with all schools in the country to receive hot meals by 2030. More details will follow in due course.
Our Feathered Friends
Beyoncé, Brownie, Coco and Marble, our four school hens have settled in well to school life. They have been a super addition to our school garden!
