Safer Internet Day
Safer Internet Day (SID) is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people. It is promoted in Ireland by the PDST Technology in Education and Webwise.
The Theme for Safer Internet Day is “Together for a Better Internet“.
We marked Safer Internet Day in Scoil Naomh Treasa on Tuesday, 8th February 2022.
Each pupil was given a SID wrist band, watched class level Internet Safety powerpoints / videos and each family was given a copy of "A Parents Guide to a Better Internet".
